Friday 12 August

Mini Movers & Their Grown-up Groovers with BirdGang Ltd
10:30-11:15am

An energetic dance and movement-play workshop with Amber Williams from BirdGang Ltd for toddlers 12 months+ and their carer/s. Through interactive, fun-based activities and games, participants will explore coordination, balance and rhythm.

Family Groovers with BirdGang Ltd
3:00-4:00pm

Dance as a family at this class with Amber Williams from BirdGang Ltd, catered to all ages and abilities. Filled with energy, motivation and music, the class is a great opportunity for families to groove together. Suitable for a mix of ages (children must be accompanied by participating adult/s).

Holiday Family Disco
4:00pm-7:00pm

Bust out your best dance moves, come rain or shine, at our Holiday Family Disco. Get ready to enjoy a brilliant DJ, food, drink, and lots of dancing. We can’t wait to come together and listen to some pop classics! Fancy dress is encouraged.

toooB by Angel Exit Theatre
11:00-12:00pm

Introducing toooB, a curious and friendly shape-shifting creature. She’s not quite sure where she’s landed but she’d love to meet and play with you.

toooB is an enchanting wordless show for 6-24 month olds and their grownups. A gentle sensory adventure with an original soundtrack, captivating movement and interactive fun and games; toooB is a perfect introduction to theatre and dance for the very young and includes a stay and play session with the performer.

Family Groovers with BirdGang Ltd
3:00-4:00pm

Mini Movers & Their Grown-up Groovers with Takeshi Matsumoto & Makiko Aoyama
11:00-12:00pm & 1:00-2:00pm

These family dance workshops offer a fun and creative opportunity for children and their grownups to dance and move together. The workshops will explore togetherness through moving, using contact, props and drawing. Suitable for children 12 months+

Public Transport Links

Buses: Routes 196 and 410 stop directly outside of Stanley Arts.
Routes 75, 157, 197 and 312 stop within a few minutes’ walk.

Trains: Stanley Arts is just a five minute walk from Norwood Junction station, which has fast services to London Bridge, and direct trains to Victoria. There are also services to East Croydon, West Croydon, Sutton, Horsham, Caterham, Tonbridge and Tattenham Corner.

London Overground: Norwood Junction is on the East London Line of London Overground from Highbury & Islington to West Croydon via Dalston Junction.

Parking: There are three car parks in easy reach (Station Road, Belvedere Road and Clifford Road). The local street parking is mainly metered but free in the evenings. There is some free street parking on Southern Avenue and adjoining streets up the hill from Stanley Arts. Where possible we ask that you are considerate to our neighbours and use public transport to get to and from Stanley Arts.

Reception: The reception is reached by coming into Stanley Arts from the first corner door on the right as you come up South Norwood Hill. Reception is the first room on your left. See below for our current opening times.

Access information

Stanley Arts is suitable for those with access needs, as well as being suitable for families and children. For more information about access, please see ‘Disability Access’ below.

Many of the spaces have suitable access for wheelchair users and buggies, and appropriate seating for children and those with limited mobility. Accessible toilets and baby changing facilities are available – Stanley Arts have three toilets with baby changing facilities across our site, which are open to be used by all genders.

Free drinking water is available in the café and breastfeeding is welcome across the venue.
