Dance, Camera, Action!
Dance Umbrella’s home base is situated at Somerset House, in the heart of the borough of Westminster. In autumn 2024, with support from Westminster Council, we created a project for young people at St Andrew’s Youth Club. Artists from Westminster-based dance company Impact Dance guided the participants in developing their hip hop dance skills, across a series of creative sessions at the youth centre and also their own dance studios. A filmmaker documented the project – take a look at what they got up to!
