Info

"Vertiges reveals... a fine, touching lyricism... seeing older dancers onstage is not a fortuitous anthropological occurrence, but rather an artistic privilege. Bravo, Fortier.”

- Le Devoir, Montreal

A charming and intriguing encounter between two mature men: one a dancer; the other, a violinist. In his signature fluid and pure style, Paul-André Fortier propels himself weightlessly across the stage, in dialogue with surprising live sounds performed by American Malcolm Goldstein.

With a vibrancy and tenderness between them, the pair skilfully lure the audience into the heart of their poetic world. Performer and choreographer, Fortier is internationally renowned for dance that is marked by innovation, renewal and a desire to defy convention.
