Consistently radical in her work, Rosemary Butcher’s use of cross-arts collaboration and non-theatrical spaces has profoundly influenced the direction of British contemporary dance for the last three decades and earned her an important international reputation.

Interweaving visual images, a single performer and an urban soundscape, Episodes of Flight is a reflection on Butcher’s artistic history and her past and present influences.

Butcher works with dancer Elena Giannotti, sound designer Cathy Lane and lighting designer Charles Balfour, equal partners in a work where film, sound and movement combine to create an exquisite and engaging experience.
