Development ManagerSalary range £30 – 34k (full-time)Part-time considered
BackgroundDance Umbrella, London’s leading international dance festival, has established its reputation through the risk and rigour of its programme. Over the past 38 years the festival has brought to London audiences a multitude of exceptional artists from 32 countries to over one million people in London. It has shown work at 55 different venues from Smithfield Market to the British Library, from Whitechapel Art Gallery to a Baker Street bathroom showroom, from canal long boats to Alexandra Palace Ice Rink.
Appointed in 2013 CEO & Artistic Director Emma Gladstone has refreshed the mission by expanding the definition of contemporary dance to include the widest range of movement - be it flamenco, hip hop, ice skating, parkour, aerial work, or skate boarding.
Dance Umbrella aims to be a creative catalyst that develops not only artists and audiences, but the art form itself.
